What about the writing?
So often the writing on companies’ digital offerings is neglected and you land up on a site, app or platform where the language feels stiff, forced or overly formal. Perhaps it’s inconsistent. Perhaps it’s illogical or leaves out crucial information that the user needs in order to find what they’re looking for.
The bells, whistles and buttons are great. The effects are fabulous. But if your user can’t understand the words, it’s going to have an impact on the way they experience your digital offering. It’s worth paying attention to the writing to ensure there’s not a brow-furrowing moment anywhere for your potential customer, a moment that might potentially see them falling away, or worse – going to a competitor.
